December 25, 2022 - The Notebooks - #2

Hi!

We’re trucking right along with our second notebook of the trilogy - this one is strawberry-jam-packed with some more perfectly uniform and boring designs!

The second notebook is “dark gray, a stormcloud balancing on the precipice of exploding in rain, and the elastic holding it closed is that painful pink-ish color of a sunburn.” I’ve never really gotten sunburned before, but my friend ~Queen Tomato~ has the kind of skin that gets sunburned the moment she steps outside (hence the nickname). Gray and depressed salmon isn’t my favorite color combination, but…

This book is for plain black dresses in the style of a traditional bridesmaids dress, long and gorgeous but boringly predictable. They have some accessories, like red stitching along the hem or red ties at the straps, but they aren’t innovative. My extended family really wanted to watch the new season of Emily in Paris, and I was barely paying attention but every once in a while I would look up and I would see whatever the characters on screen were wearing, and every single time I grew more and more traumatized. But those clothes were memorable. Maybe they weren’t pretty or attractive or even nice at all, but they weren’t boring. The clothes in the Mainland are, by our standards, boring.

I mentioned this before, but who buys these things? One company can’t be more important or well known than another because that would mean that someone isn’t as important or well known which destroys equality. But you have to be able to buy things.

In  my November 17 post I mentioned that the currency is = (walls) , like how the US currency is $ (dollars) or the British currency is £ (pounds). I call them walls because (and I’m getting fancy here) a lot of times, money does build walls - possession quality (or lack thereof), standard of living, social standing, etcetera. There can't be any “walls” in this universe.

Hm.

Oh, right. Merry Xmas, if you celebrate. Happy holidays in general, if you celebrate. If not, then… Enjoy the toasty temperatures and obnoxious commercialization and upcoming end-of-year sales!
